A Renaissance man par excellence, Toronto-based personal trainer Ronald Semprie offers a multitude of talents to help his clients improve their lives through his work. As one of the world’s finest personal trainers, he has also become a life coach, motivation expert, TV personality, and health trainer. Semprie challenges every client to conquer the roadblocks that stand in the way of their success. Here’s his program—in his words.

My Personal Training Philosophy

Throughout my life, I’ve discovered that staying ahead of the curve goes well beyond innovation. After that great idea comes to fruition, you must apply vision, anticipation, perseverance, resilience, and the tenacity to build upon your innovation. That’s how I live—and how I teach my clients to live.

My Background

I’ve amassed quite a bit of knowledge about motivation, health, and fitness in my work as a trainer for some of the finest athletes and artists in the world. Formerly, I held a position as the official training, fitness, and nutritional consultant for Extreme Fitness in Ekaterinburg, Russia. In addition to my work as a private personal trainer, I serve as the healthcare trainer, coach, and nutritional consultant for the World Dance Crew (WDC) in Toronto.

In 2013, I had the honour of serving as master of ceremonies for my alma mater at the University of Toronto’s 2013 Hall of Fame Awards Gala. The university also honoured me for my stint as a basketball player for the school, inducting me into its Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016.

My Training Approach

With a wide base of knowledge derived from both instruction and self-driven learning, as well as my 30 years practicing my training profession, I’ve discovered that a martial arts-inspired approach creates a holistic framework for my teaching. With such an approach, I can customize my training to each client with services that blend:
